I’m definitely NOT famous…but…

…several months ago, I was contacted to write a drumline cadence for live performers (my life-long friend, Drake Melson, being one of them) to be played on an episode of Married at First Sight (season 16 episode 3 for you guilty pleasure fans out there). I may consider the premise of that show to be… questionable at best but took the gig anyways with stars in my eyes about being able to say that I was asked to write music for an actual tv show.

Now wait... I haven’t gotten to the best part. In the episode when the drumline makes their appearance at the wedding reception the crowd is going wild and everyone is pumped up to hear the drumline but there is canned music is being played over the top and you can maybe make out roughly one second of my glorious and assuredly masterful composition. Yeah. At least I was credited at the end of the episode! Look out, IMDB! Actually, that’s what I was told would happen but I’m pretty sure that they didn’t do that (the credits go by too quickly to tell).

I’d still do it again if asked even though it turned out to be sort of a hilarious flop. If you’d like to listen to or even buy what is likely to be considered the next Beethoven 9 of easy/ medium difficulty drumline cadences, it’s called “Wedding Groove” and you can find it HERE.

Behold… the greatest moment of my career! :D
